L+EARN BiZ is a free online financial literacy programme for young entrepreneurs in the Northern Cape, Free State, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Learn to manage your money, grow your profit and get your business ready for funding, with a business coach in your corner.

Real support, not just another course
This programme is built for business owners who are already doing the work. Everything is practical and applied directly to your own business.
- 8 online workshops covering the skills that make a business stronger: personal and business money management, the Business Model Canvas, marketing, costing and pricing, financial record-keeping, compliance, and pitching.
- 4 private coaching sessions, one-on-one with an experienced business coach.
- A chance to pitch your business at the end of the programme.
- A certificate when you complete the programme.
- Mobile data supplied for online attendance and rewards along the way, so staying connected and committed does not cost you.
What does it cost? Nothing. The programme is fully sponsored by the ASISA Foundation. You bring the commitment; the programme brings the rest.

L+EARN BiZ is designed for a specific group of business owners. Check yourself against this list before you apply.
You qualify if:
- You are a South African citizen and Black (African, Coloured or Indian) as defined in the B-BBEE Codes.
- You are between 18 and 34 years old.
- You live in the Northern Cape, Free State, Limpopo or Mpumalanga.
- You own a business that has been operating for at least 6 months.
- You work in the business yourself, full-time or part-time.
- Your business makes less than R1 million a year and employs 1 to 10 people, including you.
- Your personal income is below R360,000 per annum and below R30,000 per month.
- You have completed Matric.
- You can take part in online sessions in English.
- You have not taken part in an ASISA Foundation programme before.

This programme works if you do
L+EARN BiZ runs online over about five months, starting 19 August 2026. Expect a workshop every week, a monthly coaching session, and short assignments that you apply directly in your own business. All sessions run on Zoom and work on a smartphone.
Places are limited and there are more applicants than seats. Apply only if you are ready to show up for the full programme. Your business is worth that.
Applying is simple

- Click APPLY NOW and complete the online application form. Have these documents ready to upload: your ID, proof of address, and CIPC business registration document, if registered.
- Complete the short My Personal BiZ online course.
- Final checks are done and successful applicants are welcomed onto the programme by 18 August 2026.

The L+EARN BiZ Programme is hosted by the ASISA Foundation, a non-profit initiative of the savings and investment industry that delivers financial literacy and micro-enterprise development programmes to South Africa's most vulnerable groups. The aim is to influence a sustainable change in behaviour, so that vulnerable citizens can manage their financial affairs more appropriately, enabling greater economic participation.
